A few years ago, I sat down to interview Dave Barnes. He recorded the interview on my friends’ camera and over the years I’ve listened to his words many times. Much of what he said to me that day in a school hallway in Walla Walla has really become a part of my life because I paid attention and remembered what he wrote.
It occurred to me that the world is full of people with words to say. and I want to hear them.
I want to know everyone’s story and I have a desire for everyone I meet to meet everyone I know. This is the response to that.
500 Conversations is about people, new people in my life and familiar favorites, and it’s about taking the time to remember and reflect on one specific conversation. It might be the beginning of a new friendship, a catching up of an old one, or just one random encounter with one random stranger.
We all have a story; we all have things we are dying to say.
and I want to hear all of it.
